Setting up ADSL on Windows 3.11

  Open the Program Manager.

Double click the group.

Double click the icon.

Make sure that the Network card and TCP/IP are both installed.

If the Network card is not installed, click the Drivers button.

Click the Add Adapter button.



Leave it selected for Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter and click OK.

Insert the Driver disk and type or Browse for the correct location. Then click OK.

Click Close.

If TCP/IP is not installed, click the Drivers button.

Click the Add Protocol button.



Select Microsoft TCP/IP and click OK.

When it has been added, click once on TCP/IP.

Click the Set as Default Protocol button.

Click Close.

If both are installed, double click TCP/IP.



Your IP address is ________________________

Your Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0

Your Gateway to 208.31.186.1

Click the DNS button.



The host name is adsl____.
The domain name is wcc.net.
On the DNS Server Search Order type 208.6.232.10 and click Add. Then type 208.6.232.12 and click Add again.

Click OK to save the DNS properties.

Click OK to save the TCP/IP properties.

Click OK to save the Network Settings.

Answer Yes to Restart Windows.
