Installation and Setup of Netscape Communicator for Windows 95/98


PART ONE-Installing Netscape Communicator

Insert the West Central Net CD-ROM into the drive.
The setup program should automatically start.
 

NOTE:

If it does not start automatically click on the Start button.
Then click Run.
Type D:setup then hit [ENTER](Replace D with the drive letter of your CD-ROM).

Wait while Netscape copies files onto your hard disk.

PART TWO-Account Setup


Wait for your computer to restart.

Double-click on

Enter your Name

Then click next

Enter your account name and password

NOTE:

The username and password must be in all lowercase.

You must enter your full email address (Example: johndoe@wcc.net).

Use this screen to disable call waiting, if you have it, and to also add a number for an outside line, if you need it.

Enter your area code and phone number.

Click on

Your are now ready to go! Just double-click on the Netscape icon on your desktop to get onto the Internet.
